The Associate’s main responsibility is to be an assistant to the Store Lead. This position is a multi-functional position from sales to leadership to decision making. This position will report directly to the Store Lead.

Expectations:

• Math skills including basic knowledge of algebraic functions is mandatory

• Retail sales/ customer assistance / referrals from friends, family and business partners

      o Answer phones
      o Assist in choosing correct product for customer needs
      o Determine product amounts
      o Ring in sales on P.O.S. system
      o Set up delivery times
      o Teach DIY customer proper installation techniques
      o Teach Hot Tub & Swim Spa customer’s general use
      o Teach Pool, Hot Tub & Swim Spa customers water chemistry, how to test water and make recommendations
      o Follow up phone calls on sales, quotes, and inquires

• Assist Store Lead with coordinating customer deliveries

• Sell club memberships for all businesses that showcase in The Showroom

• Open and close store according to The Showroom standards

• Comply with and enforce work rules set forth in the Employee Handbook

• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with all types of people and effectively deal with any suggestions or complaints

• Assist in team building, promoting core values and positive morale

• Assist in monthly and quarterly inventories

• Work at State Fair, Home shows and local events as scheduled

• Work at and attend regional trade shows as scheduled

• Monitor pool and spa water depth and clarity, fill and clean water as needed 

• Cleanliness and organization of The Showroom facility and grounds

• Keep bathrooms clean and stocked

• Collect garbage throughout facility and grounds

• Generate, document and pass leads to sales/designers

• Follow policy for showing clients that arrive for meetings to the conference room
